Another Year

Happy 22nd to Me!

Thanks for all your greetings, they have really brighten my day today. This year, it will be rather unique as there's quite bit to be done however all are unrelated to any forms of birthday celebrations as I will not be celebrating today since everyone is working on a mid-week Wednesday.

Some how, I feel my short found freedom is getting shorter and may end anytime soon. If you ask me what have I been doing all these months, I can only tell you I have been really busy trying out things and fulling the last of my 21st with many colors.

How much time in this lifetime can we just enjoy ourselves without any burden?
It is just now and present.

So I'm cherishing every moment in life at this present moment, taking my infinite leave. I definitely will and must get a job when the time comes and I know the time is soon.

Sorry, I just don't like to be asked if I have gotten a job yet as I know the time it not here:) Thanks for all your sweet concerns. I'll spread the good news around when my time comes.

Some Backlogs of Birthday delight

On Monday, dear Jermaine met me in school for lunch at FASS and it is my first time stepping back to school after graduation. The main intention was to have lunch at the new canteen and also to photocopy the Cookie Book which was so heavy to lug to school!

Anyway, anyhow, I still managed quite well despite it was so heavy and it was on such a rainy day. It feels quite nostalgic going back to school, looking at undergrads shuttling between classes and mugging along the benches under the walkways.

After 3 years in Arts, this was the few times where I get to sit down properly over lunch in Arts canteen. Don't really like lunch as chances are I'd need to go lunch alone given our weird clashes in timetables. And, I don't like going lunch alone as it feel so pathetically lonely in the oh-so-noisy and crowded Arts canteen and plus I'm used to have light lunch so take-away pancakes, Coffee Club's muffins or some finger foods will do:)

So for Monday lunch, the both of us went to buy a bento set from the much acclaimed Japanese food stall. It cost us a whopping $4 for a set! What another price height? And ridiculously, the food are getting smaller portions and the bowl of miso soup is only half-filled. Jermaine said that it looks like someone had already drank half of it.. haha:P

The bento set I have was Teriyaki Chicken and those chicken slices were so severely deep fried that the skin was so super crispy and oily. In then end, I only ate the meat without the skin and I can't even taste the Teriyaki sauce. I would have definitely condemn the Jap stall if I'm still an undergrad but I wouldn't care much now.. hee.

Just shortly after our not-so-nice lunch, Jermaine whipped out a whole big bag of Precious Thots and presented my Birthday Prezzie!!

WOW!!! It's such a big bag! and I was blown away and really really.... Super touched! Okay wait, not that I'm touched because it is a BIG bag of prezzie but it's those sweet thoughts that comes with all those sweet things in there;D Basically, size does not equate to the intrinsic values attached to gifts.

Dear Jermaine knew of my latest hobby which is baking and cooking;D So she got a set of baking/cooking related wares for me from my favorite Precious Thots.

Presenting to you....
The Precious Moment's BIG BAG!

Introducing the goodies!
From clockwise top left hand corner:

1 big paper bag
1mini tray with the graphics of 'Love is Sharing',
1 set of 3 piece Cutlery set,
1 little gift card,

OMG! It's just so pretty!!!! &
I was melting when I saw all of them at the Arts Canteen.

Thanks again to my dearest Jermaine! *hugs*

Thanks for remembering that I was so gaga over Precious Thot's soup bowl and spoon (below) and got me such a pretty set of gift;D

So I'm really delighted over this set of extremely sweet gifts;) And at the end of Monday, I was lugging both the cookie book and this set of beautiful wares to tuition then home. Even my family was in moment of excitement seeing this set of gifts.. hee;D

Last Sunday, which is also my Lunar Calender Birthday, Mum bought a cake for me from Crystal Jade and it looks this (below). Just a simple cake cutting ceremony which marks my 22nd/ 23rd:) The gift was a sponsorship from everyone in the family to buy a pair of much-needed Levi's Jeans! Yeah;D geez my only pair of jeans is getting a bit baggy so need to get another pair.
