Season for Celebrations (I)

The past few weeks have been
gatherings after gatherings;D
First was the OCSV gathering which took place on July 28 @ Clary Quay, then followed by JC gals gathering on Aug 4 and finally my bestest secondary friends just on Aug 8.
It's always heart-warming to be meeting up with everyone and especially when everyone takes special efforts to turn up for the event.
28July: OCSV Gathering
OCSV'04 holds many special meanings to me...
It's the first time that I was given the opportunity to venture to a faraway land for three weeks with a group of strangers which became a 'close-knitted family' as we become kins to one another during the trip. It also gave me direction to my life, helping me to choose the path I should take in university. And last but not least, meeting someone who become my best companion in life.
This gathering was far most the highest turn up with a total of 14 people and almost all the guys turned up:) Dinner was a simple one at a Chinese eatery opposite the Central but somehow, round table dinning evokes many fond memories we shared during the trip 3 years ago.
The chilled out after dinner was again at TCC and lucky star must be shining up high on us that day. We managed to get 13 seats in the cosy air-con corner of the cafe despite there was a long waiting list and we did not make any reservations.

These three years seem to have pass really fast and everything happened in a glance. Everyone has moved on to a different phrase in life and it's just so amazing here we are back together sitting around the round table just like one of our supper session then. Nostalgic:)
Till then we meet again, where will I be?
4 August: 02S14 gals gathering
After a failure attempt to meet up last August at Holland V, another year has passed by without much news and this time round, all the 6 of us managed to come together for a proper dinner:)
The two years in JC wasn't exactly the best time in my life and there's not too much pretty memories for me to recall. There were endless of friendship problems which i had never encountered back in secondary school days and our subjects tutors wasn't those you would really like to have.
Despite all these, the few of us still keep in touch occasionally with one another while we were scattered to different universities and faculties.
The gathering was a short one with simple dinner at the Asian Kitchen and small chats over coffee at Gloria Jeans Cafe. Ruby brought Alvin along and it's really nice to see her finding someone who can really take good care of her this time round:)
Gals, do keep in touch!!
Wishing all the best upon graduation~ C'est la vie.
