After a fruitless interview, I was more glad and happy to be able to meet Button Bear at VivoCity (yes again...) to redeem our GV Gold Class Tickets which expires on this Friday. After some enquires last week, we were told that the movie schedule would usually be available after 7pm on Wednesday and thus we had to make our trip down to Vivo else the tickets would get sold out again.

Since I was early and had some time to spare, once again, I hopped in CK Tangs to admire the tap design salt dispenser (see earlier post):P The atmosphere there on a weekday evening was really COLD. There were just about 2-3 shoppers including myself and you can even spot groups of 4-5 sales assistants (mind you, there were really groups of them) crowd around themselves to chit-chat.

It felt a little intimidating as all eyes seemed to be on me when I was the only shopper at a point in time. This was especially so when I started to whip out my N73 to snap some pictures of what I like in the shop. I think they must thinking if I some secret shopper from other rival departmental stores and went there to check out their wares..haha:P

Despite that, I just kept my cool, slowly and steadily took a few pictures. At the same time, thoughts just went through my mind thinking why can't I be just some erm... some lady who need to do research on what to get for her new apartment?

Before long, BB came along and he was totally in love with item 3 (and I knew he love it)! After touring a little more in Tangs, admiring the salt & pepper dispenser & Mayer's mixer, we made our purchase and got out of the "tense" atmosphere (I still believe they think I'm a secret shopper! haha).

BB is getting gaga over coin-slots machines these days especially those $1.00 mini Feng Shui elements and so we went back to Toy'R'Us to try our luck. I was luckily enough to collect a full set of Ratatouille's collectibles, thanks to the uncle who allowed us to choose what we wanted since we had already slotted lots of coins but couldn't get what we want;D

On our way to GV, some eye candy caught our eyes!

Corduroy Cafe has opened its own candy shop which just looks fabulously gorgeous! It is so eye catching with all the pretty colors waving to you and asking you to visit them ASAP. Shall visit it very soon eventhough I'm more of a chocolate than candy person:)

Btw, Corduroy Cafe - milkbar. bakery is a very very nice chilled out place on a weekday afternoon when there's little crowd. The music & ambience is perfect for lazing out over a nice milkshake or smoothie. I hope to go there again before my 'freedom' is tied down with a full time job commitment.

To our dismay, GV is really slow... At 7.50pm, the schedule has yet to be released and we were told to go back again in an hour's time. So we decided to just had our dinner at Olive & Fig which is located next to Page One. Been there for the third time and we still think the food is way better as compared to Mussels Guys (<-warning: don't every go there!!)
